Whilst I have not tried this myself perhaps its worth trying to convert the mp3 into a Midi file and let the system import the MIDI as a new Style What is the point of assigning a song to a style if you can't play it ? It seems you have to be in Style mode for most harmonies to work and while in that mode you can't play either of the songs associated with the style you're in.
